The Belles Christmas Cracker!

 

The Belles have had another wonderful festive season in 2018!  We have performed at a Winter Market for Mary Ann Evan’s Hospice, and at their remembrance service in Bedworth All Saints Church.  We also performed at Walsgrave Hospital, the Christmas lights switch on at Warwick’s Victorian Evening, Santa’s Little Makers Christmas Market at Fargo Village, Making Merry Christmas Arts Fair at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, and at Resorts World Birmingham.

 

We had a fabulously busy time, but we couldn’t resist running a Christmas learn to sing course ‘Christmas with Belles On’ and putting on our own show!  The Belles Christmas Cracker is becoming one of our favourite annual events, celebrating the year with our friends and family and we were delighted to be joined by several ladies from the course!

 

We enjoyed a full programme of wonderful barbershop and were delighted to be joined by our brother chorus ‘Three Spires Harmony’ under the directorship of our very own April.  We were also joined by an array of talented quartets ‘4K Barbershop Quartet’, ‘Bowled Over’, ‘Aurora Quartet’ and the mixed quartet with no name.  The final performance before ‘The Belles’ closed the show was by the wonderful Variabelles singing a beautiful version of Coventry Carol.

 

We have had an amazing year with lots of singing, hard work, fun and laughter.  We thank everyone for their support; we couldn’t do it without you, and we look forward to an even more fabulous 2019!
